Kannada actress Manvita marries Arun in Kalasa today.
Kannada actress Manvita Harish Kamat wed Arun Kumar on Wednesday in an intimate wedding ceremony held in Kalasa in Chikmagalur district. The marriage was attended by Manvita‘s family members, close friends and other colleagues from the Kannada film industry.
Manvita Opted For An Arranged Marriage
Manvita Harish, who started her career as a radio jockey eventually made her debut as an actress in Kendasampige directed by Duniya Suri. While interacting with the media after announcing her marriage to Arun, Manvita revealed that it is an arranged marriage as per the wish of her late mother. Manvita shared that it was her mother who was looking out for a groom and that she had chosen Arun Kumar.
Manvita Harish is Popularly Called Tagaru Putti
Post Kendasampige, Manvita struck stardom with the 2018 Kannada superhit film Tagaru, in which she played the role of a youngster alongside Dr Shivarajkumar. She came to be known as Tagaru Putti after the success of the film. Tagaru directed by Duniya Suri also gave a fresh lease of life to Dhananjaya, whose role as Daali became hugely popular thereafter. Also, Manvita who played a cameo in Chowka as actor Kashinath’s daughter in the film was very well appreciated by the audience. The song Appa Appa I Love You Pa from Chowka has been a common feature during Father’s Day celebrations after its huge success.
