Among all the Bollywood stars, Akshay Kumar appears to be having the hardest time of all. The actor has left no stone unturned to promote his upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, with co-star Tiger Shroff. However, it seems that his labour has failed to bear fruits despite bagging the much-in-demand Eid release. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, BMCM has reportedly failed to make a mark in the advance bookings.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan advance booking
According to the reports on Sacnilk.com, the Akshay-Tiger starrer has only managed to sell 173 tickets, earning approximately 97k.
The report further suggested that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has garnered 670 screenings nationwide, earning approximately Rs 8.4 lakh when taking into account the block seat data. Clashing with it is Ajay Devgn‘s sports drama Maidaan, which has already sold 3961 tickets for its opening day, amassing Rs 7.37 lakh in advance bookings, as per Sacnilk.com. Currently, Maidaan appears to be leading in the advance booking race.

It seems that Ajay Devgn isn’t really worried about the clash with Akshay Kumar starrer, He shared, “I would not call it a clash. If you call it a clash, then it means that two films should not be released on the same day. But there are times when you have to do this. Both films are of different genres. We are all like a family, we are friends. We are not looking at it like a clash, we are looking at it like a big weekend and both the films will do well.”
