Guwahati, May 9: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on Thursday declared the HS results at 9 am.
This year, the AHSEC announced that there would be no ranking system and hence there was no toppers’ list.
From Arts stream, a total of 201,089 students appeared and out of those 1,77,434 candidates passed with a pass percentage of 88.24 while 54,552 candidates appeared from science stream and out of that 49,256 candidates passed with pass percentage of 90.29.
In the Commerce stream, a total of 17,395 candidates have appeared and out of that 15,356 students have passed with a pass percentage of 88.28.
For the first time, the AHSEC results have been declared without mentioning the positions secured by the students.
