Naslen With Abhinav Sunder Nayak

Naslen is currently on a high after the blockbuster success of Premalu. The rom-com, released earlier this year, was successfully dubbed and released in Tamil and Telugu. The film, part of Malayalam cinema‘s elite 100 crore club, is also getting a sequel next year and Naslen will be returning to reprise his part in it.

‘A Hate Letter To Cinema’

Now, editor-turned-filmmaker Abhinav Sunder Nayak, who made an impressive debut with the Vineeth Sreenivasan starrer Mukundan Unni Associates in 2022, has announced his next with Naslen as the lead of the film. Titled Mollywood Times, the film is backed by Ashiq Usman Productions.

A teaser poster was released online with the tagline ‘A Hate Letter to Cinema’ and the disclaimer that everything shown in the film is not based on fiction, but are based on some true incidents from within the cinema industry. The makers haven’t revealed any other details regarding its genre or other team members. Mollywood Times is expected for a 2025 release according to the poster.

Naslen’s Future Projects

We had earlier reported that the actor is next teaming up with director Khalid Rahman for a sports comedy, which got launched recently. His next release will be I Am Kathalan, also directed by Premalu maker Girish AD.
