Priyanka Chopra has become a familiar face at the Met Gala and has graced it many times since her debut in 2017. Her first look was not only famous for her ‘train’ but also because of her pictures with Nick Jonas, who also appeared to be there. Well, who knew that the gala would mark the beginning of a major chapter in both their lives?

In a conversation during Met Gala 2023, Nick Jonas revealed how the fashion event holds a very special place in their heart. He said, “Met Gala is special as it is the beginning of our love story. Like six or seven years ago. And here we are now.” Priyanka then added, “We walked the red carpet. It was my first Met and Nick was kind enough to escort me on behalf of Ralph Lauren at that time.” To this, Nick said, “I was just there to manage her train.”

It wasn’t until the next year that their relationship actually bloomed, which quickly escalated into a beautiful romance. By July 2018, they got engaged and in December, got married. When they returned to the Met Gala in 2019, her relationship came full circle, because this time they returned as husband and wife. Nick Jonas also told Entertainment Tonight that it was a ‘full circle’ moment.
