Assam Board HS Exam 2024: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will start the registration for Higher Secondary board exams slated to be held in February and March 2024 on November 1. The council will start the AHSEC 2024 Class 12 exam registration online. The official website to register is ahsec.assam.gov.in.
The council has asked the heads of all schools and junior colleges to notify their students on the online form fill up of Class 12th exam 2024 during the said period so that “no one left out from the process of form fill up process”.

In 2023, the council held the Higher Secondary Class 12 Assam board exams from February 20 to March 20. The practical exam were however conducted between January 25 and February 15. The exams were held in two shifts- the morning shift (9 am to 12 pm) and the afternoon shift (1:30 pm to 4:30 pm).
As many as 3,42,689 students appeared for the AHSEC 2023 Class 12 exam. The number of students in 2023 rose by over a lakh from 2022. In 2022, the total students appearing Class 12th exam were 2,05,625.
The overall pass percentage in 2023 in the Arts stream was 70.12 per cent, while in Commerce and Science, they were 79.57 per cent and 84.96 per cent respectively. The overall pass percentage in the Class 12th Vocational stream recorded 85.61 per cent.
