Guwahati, May 5: On the last day of campaigning for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, supporters of political parties in Guwahati held huge rallies to woo the voters.

Both opposition and ruling parties took to the streets to garner support for their respective candidates in Guwahati.

Assam BJP and its alliance ended their election campaign today with a bike rally led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati. This bike rally was organized from Khanapara Veterinary Ground to Latasil Play Ground.

Congress and its alliance ended their election campaign with a procession in Guwahati led by General Secretary on INC, AICC- in- charge of Assam Jitendra Singh, APCC President Bhupen Bora. The Congress procession went from Rajiv Bhawan to Dispur Manbenda Shetra.

In both the rallies, a sea of people were witnessed.

The high-voltage campaign for the third and final phase of Lok Sabha elections in Assam has ended on Sunday.

The four constituencies of Guwahati, Barpeta, Kokrajhar, and Dhubri will go to polls on May 7, with 47 candidates in the fray. Over 81 lakh voters are expected to exercise their franchise in this phase.
