NEW DELHI: Rohit Sharma might have had a below par outing against Delhi Capitals but the former Mumbai Indians captain’s 8-run knock propelled him past Virat Kohli to achieve a unique record in the IPL.
Rohit now owns the record of scoring most runs against DC, surpassing former RCB skipper Kohli’s record of 1030 runs in 28 matches. Rohit, on the other hand, has 1034 runs under his belt in 35 matches.
Chennai Super Kings batter Ajinkya Rahane features third on the list with 858 runs in 23 matches followed by Robin Uthappa (740 runs) and MS Dhoni (709 runs).
