Rishabh Pant‘s quickfire knock played a key role in Delhi Capitals’ victory of Lucknow Super Giants in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Friday, but it was his reverse scoop off Marcus Stoinis that grabbed fans’ attention the most .

The Delhi captain smashed 41 runs off 24 balls and his team easily overhauled Lucknow’s 167 for 7 for a six-wicket win with 11 balls to spare.

While Pant’s audacious stroke against Stoinis was one of the highlights of the match, Sourav Ganguly‘s reaction after looking at the shot on the big screen was priceless as well.

Ganguly is director of cricket for the Delhi Capitals’ franchise.

In the 12th over of Delhi’s run-chase, bowled by Stoinis, Pant reversed his bat at the very last moment to hit Stoinis to the third-man fence. Watching the replays on the big screen, Ganguly had a smile on his face.
