Shillong, April 10: Unknown miscreants pelted stones at the house of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) MDC of Umsning Constituency, Magdalene S Mawlong on Wednesday afternoon.
The house of the MDC is in Ladsharai, Ri-Bhoi District.
According to sources, it may have appeared to be a pre-planned attack, as a group of unknown persons waited until the afternoon to start pelting stones at the MDC’s house.
The MDC of Umsning was not present in the house during the incident, as per sources.
When the police of Umiam Police Station rushed to the spot following the incident, they found many stones in the compound of the MDC’s house.
The police are still investigating the incident to apprehend the culprits.
