Sara Ali Khan’s Graduation Video Surfaces

A video of Sara Ali Khan from her graduation ceremony, in 2013, has been making the rounds on social media.

The actress was called “Sara Sultan” in the video where she can be seen receiving her graduation certificate from Aamir Khan and Nita Ambani.

Have A Look At The Video!

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh beamed with pride as she accepted her certificate. But, her name has become a topic of conversation after the viral video.

Netizens React

Fans were quick to take the comment section with curios questions and funny replies. Many of them expressed their confusion on Sara Ali Khan being referred to as Sara Sultan.

One user said, “I think this is graduation from Dhirubhai Ambani International School,” while another said, “Saif and Amrita are there. This is from the DAIS graduation 2013, Anant Ambani also got graduated the same year.” Another fan also questioned, “Why is she called Sara Sultan here? I remember even in an interview she said her name is Sara Sultan. Everywhere else it says Sara Ali Khan Pataudi.”

Why Was Sara Called Sara Sultan?

Sara Ali Khan said in an earlier interview with East India Comedy that the airport officials used to stare at her in disbelief because of how different she looked before her transformation.

The actress added that she has several visas and that her student visa bears the surname Sultan.

She said, “My regular visa, my student visa, and me currently are all different. So, they are like, ‘What is going on? This is a bit shady.’ My surname is Sultan, and it is America, so you can just imagine.”

On The Work Front

Sara Ali Khan has an exciting line-up of films, including Murder Mubarak which will be releasing soon. She will also be seen in Ae Watan Mere Watan, which will stream on March 21.

Murder Mubarak is a thriller starring Vijay Varma, Karisma Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi. Meanwhile, Ae Watan Mere Watan is a real story that is set in the backdrop of the year 1942 during the Quit India Movement. Sara plays the valiant freedom fighter Usha Mehta.

She is also set to appear in Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino, in which she co-stars with Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma and Pankaj Tripathi.
